20th Nov 2015. To increase enthusiasm for exercising during winter, encourage interaction between students and teachers and to improve health awareness within the deparment, School of Basic Medical Sciences worker’s union organized the 2015 winter fun and games at the lobby of the Medical Complex. The event was hosted by the CPCC chairman and associate dean, Professor SHAO Jimin and attended by Union President professor LI Yuezhou and a total of more than 300 staff and students.

The cold and wet weather autumn weather can’t seem to dampen the sporting spirits of the attendees. The competition consists of three group events like the “Joint Leg Relay”, “Kangaroo Hop” and “Snowball Rolling”.  Despite it being a ‘friendship first and competition second’ event, attendees remain extremely spirited and gave everything they got. During the events, everyone cheered and clapped as competitors passed each other. After an intense afternoon First, Second, Third prizes and participation awards were given out to the winners and that marked the end of a fun and exciting event.
