- Research Interests：(1) Identification of a key nuclease termed FAN1(Fanconi anemia-associated nuclease, which serves as a scaffold protein that promotes the formation of BLM and RAD51-containing complex of biological importance ; (2) Identification of the human Shu complex, which consists of hSWS1 and SWSAP1, that is required for efficient homologous recombination repair; (3) Determination of the mechanism of how SLFN11 sensitizes cancer cell lines to DNA-damaging agents. These findings, published in the prestigious journal Science, PNAS, JBC and EMBO Reports, respectively.
