Dr. LU Meng, a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, University of Cambridge, delivered an academic talk entitled " The development and application of super-resolution microscopy and deep learning in biomedicine research" on October 13, 2022, which was supported by Zhejiang University Global Partnership Fund. The talk was chaired by Dr. ZHOU Long, from School of Basic Medical Sciences, ZJU.
The cellular physiological homeostasis replies on the precise compartmentalisation and collaboration of organelles. This talk will describe the development and application of these two techniques in the study of structure and dynamics of intracellular compartments, from protein aggregates to endoplasmic reticulum, in disease models. Unprecedented details of molecular interactions and organelle structural progression in disease models can be revealed in multi-parametric analysis by the combination of these two techniques.
