5月7日下午，在学院咖啡屋，来自爱丁堡大学医学院Joanne教授与我院赵经纬教授对我院9位申请3+1本硕联合培养项目的2015级生物医学专业的同学进行了近3个小时的面试。两位专家以严谨的态度对面试学生的英文表达能力、目前的研究进展情况、今后的打算、团队合作精神以及面临的挑战进行了全方位综合的考察。面试最后，9位同学以优异的成绩获得了爱丁堡大学硕士资格。面试专家对交流学生目前存在的问题以及即将展开的异国学习和生活予以详尽的解读和指导。
Joanne 教授面试结束后对本届学生给予了高度评价：All students were clearly fully engaged with their scientific pursuits, very able to both explain aspects of one of their research projects in fluent English and comprehend as well as appropriately respond to a wide variety of questions in English. A couple are keen to study in Edinburgh as they thought they could spend 18 hours a day 7 days a week in the laboratory but we explained the importance of finding a work-life balance and all seven students shared with us some of their other interests that they would be happy to find time to pursue whilst studying in Edinburgh.
